Q: How do I register?

A: No registration is required for most of Toronto Seedy Saturday, except for webinars (see below). You are welcome to visit the site any time to see the links to seed vendors and other exhibitors.

On February 27th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm you’ll find a Zoom link so that you can meet up with exhibitors to ask questions and see live demos.

You don’t need to download any software to join in on Zoom. If you’re not familiar with Zoom, we’ll have instructions posted on the website. We recommend you look at them before the 27th so that you’re all set to go when the “doors” open for Seedy Saturday!

Q: How do I register for webinars?

A: Each webinar has a registration link on the webinar page. You will be sent a Zoom or WebEx link for the webinar on Saturday, February 27.

Q: I want to ask questions. Can I talk to seed vendors and gardening organizations?

A: Yes! If you visit the Breakout Rooms you can talk with exhibitors. See the schedule for breakout rooms here. The schedule will have a Zoom link to the Main Lobby on Saturday.

Q: I’ve never used Zoom before. What do I need to know?

A: Zoom has a good support page https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us

You can access Zoom meetings from a web browser without downloading a desktop program or phone app, but Zoom works better if you do have a program or app.

Some basic Zoom info:

Please mute yourself if you’re not talking. The mute button is found on the lower left side of the screen. Hover over that area if you don’t see the control bar.

You can use the chat box to ask questions. Click on the chat button on your tool bar (if you don’t see it, click on More or …). You can send a message to everyone in the breakout room or you can select individuals, including the presenter or the co-host. Generally you send questions to everyone.
